Hidden Tallinn Tours {Reviews and Testimonials}

My favourite part of giving tours of Tallinn is undoubtedly the people that I get to meet. Many of these travellers come here to immerse themselves in a new culture and discover something new and unexpected about this mysterious country.

It is my pleasure to be able to help people make the most of their time here in Tallinn and I am even happier to say that some of the travellers I’ve met have become good friends.

I wanted to share some of the generous words of feedback I have received from the people who have taken my tours. Needless to say, I’m humbled by their kind words and motivated to keep improving my work so I get to meet more people like this!

“If you’re in Tallinn and want to experience something truly memorable, speak to Tom. I’ve travelled a lot and got bored of the usual touristy stuff years ago – these days I’m always looking for someone with that rare local knowledge, and who can open the door to opportunities and experiences that really are out of the ordinary and something special.

I’ve been fortunate enough to go on several trips around Tallinn and Estonia with Tom, and it’s left me with things I’ll never forget and a perspective on that place and culture which few travellers will ever have. I’ll be travelling more with Tom for sure!”

During our trip to Tallinn, we enjoyed a couple different tours with Tom. The Myths and Legends of Old Town tour was filled with handy facts, fascinating tales, and good laughs. It was a cold winter night, and Tom did an excellent job at customizing the tour when he noticed that some members of our group would benefit from a bit of a rest in a warm place.

We found Tom to be an amazing resource for knowledge not only about Tallinn’s history and folklore but also for tips on using Tallinn’s transportation system, locating the best eats, and finding a wonderful place to watch the sun set over Old Town.

He even helped me plan a route for my daily jogs that would take me through several interesting sites Tallinn has to offer. I absolutely recommend Hidden Tallinn walking tours to anyone who would like an intimate introduction with Tallinn. Thank you, Tom, for showing us the magic of your city!

“Tom’s knowledge and passion for Tallinn is amazing and he’s a really friendly guy. His tour around old town was the highlight of my trip around the Baltics last year. I enjoyed my first visit so much that I’ve been back twice and each time Tom’s shown me a different part of the city. I’ve learned about Estonian folklore, explored soviet architecture (including a submarine base!), cycled through snow to the TV tower and even had a traditional meal with an Estonian family.”

“For my first trip to Tallinn, my travel group and I did several walking tours with Tom, and he was an amazingly engaging and knowledgable guide. I think the Myths and Legends of Old Town was one of my favorite tours, and we got to finish it off at the town center and see the Christmas Market (it was December).

His love of Estonia and passion for history really shine through and make the experience memorable. We had a great time learning about all the best places to eat and visit during our trip, as well. I’m really looking forward to visiting Tallinn again in the summer and booking another tour with Tom!”

“Tom is a really likeable guy, very easy to get on with, and more importantly, know’s his stuff. He showed us places and things we would not have noticed, and his myths and legends knowledge is excellent. He also researched some post WW2 stuff for us, all in the all I would highly recommend Tom as a tour guide.”
